Excellent very long foggy wet Boxing Day walk. Dams were built and balancing on fallen trees practiced . Dog was in heaven with these two to play with.
Evening in East Hanningfield with other brov , all their kids and partners , totalled 16. Mighty craic . The unexpected Excitement was dad parking 2 wheels of the car in the ditch outside their house , despite the efforts of the 7 men, a 4 wheel drive and some big brains and brawn …. The tow rope snapped and the RAC man had to be summoned to do it properly. My mother was furious and did not see the funny side of it at all. We didn’t help laughing so much . She didn’t fare much better driving us home , went up the kerb and across the pub car park grass without realising :-0 !!
