Another day another monument

This one is on our skyline all around above Jedburgh so today we walked up to it. Extensive views in all directions.

Most exciting was that we saw an otter in the river Teviot. I honestly thought it was a log drifting downstream on the current to start with - until the log dived under and then kept popping its head up. No photos of it though.
