Pied Wagtail

A brief respite for about an hour this morning from the persistent rain, so I grabbed the chance to get out for a little local walk and get my thank you cards all  posted off!

Very quiet out and about so I think most people are just staying indoors!  And it was very quiet at the creek too with just a small handful of godwits, redshanks and ducks about! But there was a nice group of pied wagtails enjoying the puddles in the park on my walk back!

Bit more catching up around the house today and now listening to anne of green gables while doing some crafting!
