Happy Birthday, Mum

Today would have marked my mother's 93rd birthday.  She died far too young -- over 50 years ago now -- but I still miss her every day, and so wish she had had the chance to know her grandchildren.

Here she is, in 1953 in Cape Town, South Africa.  My father's work sent my parents to live in that country for a few years, and that is where my sister was born.
