The Fatball cafe

Another relaxed day catching up on various things which had been put to one side over the recent weeks. N[son] and I went for a walk through Gosford Woods - very muddy but lovely to be out. The weather is pretty grey and dank. 
Then once home and before going to see Mum I realised that our garden tree - The Fatball Cafe - was filled with chaffinches and a couple of goldfinches. The birds seem to love the sunflower hearts I've started putting out and the result has been a change in the type of birds visiting - far more finches and tits and less starlings at the present but thats great. I need to try the new camera with my smaller zoom lens and see how I get on. Tomorrows plan!
