A Familiar Face...

I think it's the way that the Town Hall clock-face cheekily peers over the Tib Lane buildings that makes this simple view one of my Manchester favourites. Taken from the corner of King Street looking along Essex Street. The Town Hall Tavern pub can be seen at the top of the junction and, so I believe, takes its name from the original Town Hall that stood on King Street rather than the current building.
