Monday: Barney On His Little Round Felt

Given that we’re housebound at the moment it was only a matter of time before Barney showed up.  Here he is on his favourite bit of round felt.

One issue we had completely failed to appreciate yesterday, in having to turn the water off, is that we now have no heating, as it’s all connected.  I might add it’s currently -12.  So, we’re spending all our time in the kitchen/living area with the fire and oven gas rings on.  

We did ask the letting agent to bring round some heaters but he’s brought three the size of postage stamps.  He might as well have brought a box of matches or an ornamental oil lamp for the heat they’re giving off.

The annoying thing is that I’ve been feeling well enough that I could have done stuff around the house but it’s just too cold…….

Well, things come in threes.  Between Covid, no heating/water and K accidentally buying vegan sausage rolls that had to be it now.
