The folks at the National Trust house The Vyne put deck chairs out. Not many takers; those are not white dots on the fabric (LARGE helps). It is snow. The wind is blowing the flakes horizontally making it very unpleasant to walk into the wind.
At the moment there is no sign of it settling.
The house is a former Tudor Palace and it is a lovely place to walk round. After the house we walked to the bird hide but we didn't see anything. On the way back to the car we stopped and a cup of tea to warm up.
