Christmas

Little Ro is a good host, and put on a lovely spread.

We headed over about 2pm, she served smoked salmon canapés and meatballs with pickles. All very nice, and then I felt sleepy. Retired to the couch for a flick through social media and some telly. We ate about 5pm, and then watched 'countdown the hits of the 80's'! Such a lot of work for her, but she always makes a big effort and we appreciate it.

Little B had no idea such a wonderfully meaty day was awaiting him this morning. When I arrived he was all warm and scruffy in his basket, and we spent at least five minutes cuddling. By the time we got to Ro's he knew it was a special day, and that there was a large quantity of meat in the oven. He couldn't have the meatballs as they had chilli in them, but his head kept popping up between mine and Andy's chair.

He had a happy day, ate very well and then snoozed in his basket before we left.
