Fountains Abbey

We had a long walk around a very foggy Fountains Abbey today with N’s mum and sister.

The cellarium was filled with rainbow coloured lights and choral carols filled the air. Very atmospheric.

L loved climbing the walls and playing amongst the ruins. It was a lovely day out.

We had dinner at N’s mum’s before heading back to our holiday let.

We’re all exhausted this evening.
