met up with other part of much-missed sortof sisters, at Troon beach. Sue works in the NHS public health protection team for that region, and is phenomenally overworked, under-staffed and utterly squashed with life in general. I did what I could to un-squash a little, but I’m really worried about her ability to cope any longer with the work horrors and other deeply-felt troubles. Think I reassured her a bit about a family fallout, but all I can really do is be there for her to lean on. Hey ho.
