Watery walk

It's been a dry day, so we set off for the Quoile for a walk by the river.  We weren't able to do our usual walk  - a lot of the path was under water! We've had such a lot of rain recently that the river was encroaching on the path.  There were beautiful reflections though, and it was a lovely walk. 
This afternoon I went for a swim with the Sloanehill Mermaids,  very chilly so it was a quick dip, but such fun! We had hot chocolate afterwards,  complete with cream and marshmallows
