Aldershot 1 Woeking 1

This is a view of the Slab.  Our spiritual home at the Recreation Ground.  

First half was dire, but it livened up when the referee inexplicably sent one of our defenders off.  This incident was right in front of me, and I never for a moment through a card would be shown.  From then on, the Shots started to impose themselves on Woeking who didn't know how to handle our strikers running at them.  3 yellow cards for hacking our strikers down should have been converted into two red cards, but the referee chose to ignore the transgressions.

A penalty to the Shots in the 85th minute seemed to give us the three points, but another controversial decision saw a penalty to Woeking in the 95th minute.

Those closer to the other end of the pitch thought our player was tackled outside the area, so maybe a point each was a fair outcome.  Bring on the replay!
