Cake

Christmas Eve has been ( as always) a bit of a mad dash to get final food shopping and preparation done, I got son N on board to decorate our cake - bought not made as making my own cake is one of the Christmas joys I’ve not managed to achieve the last few years sadly :( However in the great scheme of things that’s no big deal! Far more important that I’m busy caring for mum as it means she is still with us! 
A arrived last night and is with us till Boxing Day ( I think) then he flies out Brazil to spend NY with his lovely girlfriend. 
Went to a Christmas Eve service with N this evening which was a lovely spell of peace in the busyness of the day :)
