Arrietty Clock

Mary Norton, 1903-1992, Author of The Borrowers. Mary lived at this house as a child and the house and garden was her inspiration to write the books.

Part of the house is now used as a school which is rather in keeping I guess.

I had a meeting next door to this house today and their back garden, if you can call it a back garden is beautiful, with lovely old trees. The building itself is old and tired inside and needs a good scrub and a good deal of works to be done. The people who work there seem happy with their huge desks and large ceiling rooms - perfect location for a solicitor!


Back in the warm now! It's snowing again!
