Boxing Day

A quiet pre-match stroll before the Villa match I would have been watching in the stands. For the first time in a long history though, my brother and I actually opted not to go, staying cautious in our family/Christmas bubbles. Covid again with a lot to answer for! In a way, it was a relief that we lost, at least we didn’t miss much and saved ourselves miserable long journeys back. And I got to watch in the warmth with my Dad and eat turkey and chips and pigs in blankets!
