Boxing Day

A lazy start to the day, but after breakfast and the weather looking brighter I decided it was time for a good walk. I hardly got off the drive when there was dampness in the air, but kept going and by the time I reached the end of the road the sun had come out. And this lasted most of my 3 mile yomp. Overall it has been a lovely day. 

Middle of the afternoon I drove over the river, and stopped on the quay to take this image, before picking Sue up and driving over to our friend Trish so we could enjoy mince pies and cups of tea. Back home now.
