Boxing day skating

A tired day. The neighbor of grandparents kept me up until 1am. He apparently had some friends visiting him as I was sleeping alone in sauna department, I couldn't help hearing all of their anxious and happy chatting and singing aloud. I often have been s bad sleeper trying to do so away from home. This time was not an exception, unfortunately.

Our daughter had one of her friends in neighborhood (only some 10km distance) over Christmas, so they met together in outdoor ice-rink to play some hockey and skate around.

This ice-rink is located only few hundred meters from grandparent's, so I took Nicke the poodle with me and we walked with my daughter to the rink. I had a short chat with her girl friend and Nicke and me had a walk around one sunny field and arrived back to grandparent's home.

My turn to prepare a boxing day meal.

-15c, sunny.

Later in the afternoon we packed our cars and drove home. Unpacked my belongings, washed some clothes and vaccuumed the home (as I had not done it before the Christmas and we had rough sand indoors). We also warmed up our own sauna me and hubby.

Happy to be able to sleep home in my own bed.
