[Catching up with three days of blips here! The days have been SO busy!]

Quite late last night(!), we finally firmed up plans with Margaret and Jeff for Christmas Day, so today was busy preparing for that. G & I went food shopping in the morning and then gift shopping in the afternoon/evening! In between, we delivered a package that Hilde sent to a friend of hers who drove down from Abu Dhabi. He got goodies as well, but our box was bigger!!

We went into Wafi (twice), Spinneys in Mercato, the Last Exit in Khawaneej and last but not least (because we forgot a couple of items), we popped into the Spinneys nearest to us. The shopping for food is done. (Phew)

G spent the rest of the evening doing as much prep for lunch as is possible. The most important is to ensure the turkey gets thawed. I got the place ready, including laying the table!
