Singing..

..in the rain, could be the title of this photo as the starlings lined up for a festive singing on the power line during the heavy downpour that has characterized this holiday. But it is possible that they were just planning the choreography of their next murmuration show! Whatever they were doing, they left the photographer thinking why the combination of water, electricity and animals doesn't always lead to immediate electrocution!

As this happens to be my 300th blip I'll use this opportunity to thank you for coming by on my journal during this journey. I have added an extra that shows a starling in free fall which is more or less how I felt when I realized it was my blipversary and the meteorological conditions didn't allow for much outdoor photographing!
