Best. Christmas. Ever.

As lovely as it is to spend time with family at Christmas, spending today at home with Mr A has been bliss.

It’s been nice to just chill and not have to try and rush round to see everyone.

No pressure on cooking either; Mr A still can’t smell or taste anything so although I still made a Christmas dinner, it was scaled back somewhat.

We’ve FaceTimed family so we have still seen them, just not in the flesh.

I’ve been grumbling for the last few days that it’s our first Christmas as a married couple and I hadn’t had a card from Mr A.

He’s always last minute and with having to self isolate, obviously he couldn’t get to the shops.
Instead though, he surprised me this morning with this lovely creation.
It meant more than anything and will be going in my memory box with all our other wedding keepsakes.
