Well fed

We have had a good Christmas Day. We have face timed our family, but sister Judith is waiting for a call so that she can see her eleven month old grandson.
We went next door for drinks. We exchanged presents with each other. We watched the Queen’s speech. We had a traditional Christmas lunch, and cleared it away and at last we are relaxing in front of the log fire. It has all been too much for brother-in-law Roy who has discovered that our settee is just the right length.
