Christmas wander (Day 2422)

After a wander up the hill with Sigyn and getting ourselves sorted out at home, my beautiful wife loaded up the car and headed across to Mum and Dad's. Once there I comandeered the kitchen and got a leg of lamb in the oven to slow roast. HV did a fine job assisting with chopping of all the veg.
With dinner underway, we made our way to the horses and got out on George and Jeeps. We headed along to the old folks home so some of the residents could see the horses. It generated a load of smiles, so a grand thing to do. Back to the shed through the streets of Stromness (extra for those who like pics of George's lugs), then back to Mum and Dad for bacon sandwiches and Christmas cake.
Out again with Sigyn and Evie for a walk at the shore and a check on the horses. Back to base to watch a film, then the last bit of prep for dinner. It is beginning to smell pretty good.
