CHRISTMAS EVE

A couple of days ago I got a letter advising me that I had a podiatrist appointment this afternoon.  I was quite surprised to get an appointment for Christmas Eve.. When I went to the Health Centre the place was empty.  No receptionists, no patients and the place was strangely quiet.  As usual I took a seat outside the podiatrists room and after a couple of mins he came to get me.  He said that this session was  last minute addition. I'm supposed to see a podiatrist every 2 months and so far this year I had only had one appointment in May so I was glad that they could fit another one in at the last minute.  I hadn't seen this particular podiatrist before and found him very friendly and gentle.

After my appointment I popped to Herons and Tesco.  Didn't really want anything but of course I came home with a shopping bag full of " essentials ".... including chocolate eclairs and Magnum Ice Cream lollies.

Did a bit more sorting out and cleaning and watched  TV  - Frozen and the new Shaun The Sheep film.  Great Christmas TV.

Some flowers arrived yesterday from Neil, and another bunch today from Becky.  And a long thin hand made Christmas card was popped through the letterbox.  It was from my neighbours James and Lizzie and their children.  I made a collage of the flowers and card.

Apologies for lack of comments - I'm still playing catch up.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE
