Offending Velux
Well, we’re back home in the Lot again - prematurely. The nearer Velux window in today’s blip is the cause of our early return. All four Velux windows in the roof of our summer kitchen are programmed to air the building during the day, and close immediately if there is rain. Our neighbors alerted us to the fact that one of them was refusing to close. I tried everything I could, remotely, but the window remained stubbornly wide open. The only neighbour with a key had lost it, so we had no choice but to hurry home before the rains. Ah, well, the only consolation is that while we had clear skies and sunshine today it was pouring down on the Côte d’Azur.
