Mickey

Mickey loves tinsel! She belongs to my brother's son Jay, who can't be here just now, but we have sent him this photo. We also had a Facetime with my brother's other son and his wee baby Arlo. I think that's how Christmas will be for a lot of people this year, but at least technology means we can keep in touch.

I've walked over 8 miles today, first on my own, and then later on with my brother. We walked through the woods in the rainy dark :-)

Other than that, it's been a quiet Christmas Eve. Out at 8 to get the food order from Morrisons while it was still not busy, chatting with Mum and Dad, watching the end of "North by Northwest" on TV.

Andy realised he had no custard and he really does want everything to be perfect for Mum and Dad, so he's made a last minute dash to the shops. When he gets back we will play "Weeds", our favourite family card game.

I have had a lovely time scrolling through the "recent" blips, seeing what people all over the world are doing on this day. The magic of Christmas Eve and rhe magic of Blip..an irresistible combination!
