‘‘Twas The Night Before Christmas….

We’ve spent most of the day preparing the rest of the Christmas food before Chris, Kate, Joel & Sophie joined us mid-afternoon for the next few days.

Sophie is very excited about Santa’s imminent arrival and has just gone to bed having left him mince pies, a glass of milk and carrots for the reindeer in front of the fire, with a note saying she hopes he enjoys it.

 The blip shows her giving us a spirited reading of Clement Clarke Moore’s famous poem to us a bit earlier. She read it beautifully and it was pure Christmas magic.
