In the Stable

Well, not actually a stable but a carpenter's workshop. We are ensconced for Christmas and in order to try and get the little ones to use up some energy I took them for a walk around the village in the rain. I had a good chat with this gent, Robbie Morse (no relation to the inspector he assured me), who has a passion for carpentry. So the set up had to be photographed.

He was expecting his family to arrive at any moment but was happy for a photograph with my three.   A pleasant chance meeting and appropriate for Christmas Eve.

Later we all went out again to watch Santa touring the village on his sleigh. An impressive sight.
