Bright, if not necessarily merry

Mr. Beewatcher’s just put the Christmas lights in the lilac tree, even though it’ll be a second Christmas in a row with just the two of us.
He’s now getting even more in the Christmas spirit watching The snowman and the snow dog, whilst I sit here pondering whether Christmas 2022 will really be a normal Christmas. 
Whatever, we and our loved ones are still here, so it’s all good.
And if you’re looking at this, I really hope it’s the same for you.
