Christmas Eve

Not the Christmas Eve we expected.

We had planned to have a chilled Christmas Eve, but this morning Max rang to say him and Meg had tested positive for covid I was having a cup of tea in bed at the time I have never got out of bed so fast and got myself organised to go into town we were meant to be going for Christmas and Boxing Day to their house so we hadn’t bought any food ,we went to sainsburys, Marks and Sparks the turkeys were all to big but we managed to get a small one for the two of us at Cranston’s.

In the afternoon my parents visited fetching our Christmas presents and Hannah’s and oli’s whenever they eventually get here in the new year.

All sorted now , I’m chilled and drinking cocktails.watching Elf.
