Our Christmas Tradition #02
Our Christmas Tradition #02
When our children were young we did not buy Christmas crackers but instead we bought, from Heffers Christmas counters, small toys and novelties. These were wrapped and put in the base of a cardboard Father Christmas. The tradition was that at a christmas tea we open the Santa and this became known as 'Father Christmas Bottom'.
For a while the tradition stopped, the old FC has long gone. I searched around for a replacement and found FC made from three boxes.
Now each present has a ribbon attached and we all get to hold one ribbon. It is most likely not our own present but we get to wish the recipient of the gift a Happy Christmas and give to them.
