Easter

What an Easter! Mass this morning, late lunch with the fam and a beautiful walk around the neighborhood with the hubby and pup. Lovely.

When I was a kid I used to suck the bottoms of these little purple needle flowers like honeysuckle... not much comes out... it must have just been a weird kid thing.

This is actually called Lamium amplexicaule. A low growing annual plant native to Europe, Asia, and northern Africa. Hmmmm, guess I was always drawn to the unknown and just didn't realize it. It's actually also pretty edible (lucky kid me).
