Christmas (Eve) Rose

Not a Hellebore, but a real rose on the day before Christmas! Whether you support the science of climate chaos or simply think this year has been unusually mild, it's a thing, eh. The spring bulbs are shooting in the front garden, and if the weather gods remember winter after all they're going to have quite a shock.

This rose is in the front garden bed, and I've lit it on one side with a purple acetate to bring out the colour.

So, here we go folks... whether you celebrate the reborn son or the returning Sun have a smashing midwinter festival; feast fully and have fantastic fun. I just need to check the camper van fridge is appropriately stocked and then pull the cracker (when she comes home from visiting her dad).

I'm sure there will be a blip tomorrow, but it might be a bit wobbly...
