New hotel

The new hotel is almost finished, and apparently 6 months ahead of schedule (I know I am from Embra and it is now almost obligatory to seagueway from that comment into a rant about The Trams...but I wont. I will leave that to taxi drivers who are far more qualified than I).

I quite like this building from this angle, but the view from George IV Bridge is not so appealing. It has that enormous-doorway-thing going, so beloved of modern financial institutions.......

Anyway......nice to see something getting finished...but will there be tourists to fill it.

saw lots of interesting things to blip on way home, but couldn't do so discreetly. gadgies with fierce dogs, skaeboarders, and students drinking Buckie. Just when did it become the thing for stoodents to partake of wreck-the-hoose-juice? Are they trying to be ironic?
