Sideswiped back blip

Hubby was taking me to the doctor today as my COVID test a few days ago was negative and I'm feeling really bad. On the way home a tractor trailer sideswiped us and broke our mirror running us into the guard rail. You can not imagine the loud bang it made. He did not stop so we called the police and turned around and followed him almost back to town until the police stopped him. He said he did not know he hit us but a state truck saw it and flashed his head lights stop as we did too. We got it sorted out and the driver seemed sorry about the whole thing. I was happy to get back to the farm with my prescription and our life.
