Chateau Vieux Bonneau 2009

Preparing a bottle of St Emilion red for Christmas Day. This wine is produced by a 7th generation wine maker who we had the pleasure of entertaining at home some years ago together with mutual French friends from Brittany. We were invited to a return "fixture" in St Emilion which we gladly accepted and it was an amazing and somewhat educational experience. We returned home with a case of their wine which we have  subsequently consumed  progressively as a Christmas treat.
