Christmas Past

Eve has been redecorating her bedroom the past few days. She’s been wearing her Grandad Jack’s old boiler suit which he always wore to do decorating. Today, one of his old tabs dropped out of one of the pockets. He had a habit of nipping them out and putting them back in his pocket if he was interrupted. On one memorable occasion that did lead to him setting fire to himself while he was driving a bus. On this occasion though, it felt like he’d popped home for Christmas with his family.
