AMERICAN FLAMINGO

American Flamingo (Phoenicopterus ruber); one of the most majestic birds to see in flight. The underwing is black and as they flap their wings one sees alternating black/pink of each beat. Seeing several hundred flying past at once is a riot of changing colors.  Just beautiful to see.
