Drab

Not so much 'Glad Rags' as drab rags when I visited C & I in Shropshire before picking Ruth up in Shrewsbury.   Their garden very much wearing it's winter coat.   This young Meconopsis peeping through the leaf litter caught my eye nonetheless.   I enjoyed a light lunch there and left a little Christmas gift for them.  Theirs to me was on the doormat when I got home later - but not something I could have collected from them.

Ruth and her stuff are now back at mine once again, she'll stay until the new year and possibly a bit longer.  The latest covid wave might make life very difficult in her Birmingham bedsit making staying here look more attractive.   We'll see.

Think we're almost ready for Christmas.   I just need to put in a few extra ZZZs to recharge my batteries.
