CHRISTMAS CAMELLIA

I promise: this is the very last CAMELLIA
for this year. This is the usual time for them to bloom, so this Christmas surprise is
right on time. The previous blooms I posted were beautiful, but very early.

I cut this bloom & put it in a vase,
because we are expecting RAIN (Yea!)
& this delicate beauty would not survive for
long. I am hoping it will last longer than usual, while inside.

Angus & I took a hike in the hills with my neighbor from Hawaii, who is dog sitting.
Both dogs enjoyed this new hike with
steep hills & gorgeous views. I hope the rain tomorrow will turn our dry, brown hills into layers of green. One can hope…
