Midwinter

For the second year running we were unable to hold our winter solstice celebration with fairy lights and fires, good food and wine and lots of friends and neighbours.

However, this morning was a beautiful crispy frosty one and Juno and I had a lovely early walk bumping into many friends and neighbours. Each day we gain a fraction more light as we start our long slow journey towards midsummer.
