Merry Christmas ....

... and a Happy ... Battle Of Stow.

Victory at Stow for me this morning. I returned the two pairs of black trousers to Mountain Warehouse, and collected a blue pair, 20% off!

It's been a busy day. Before we went to Stow the window cleaner came, just in time for his Christmas tip. And this afternoon we did a double click and collect. A big one at Sainsbury's who are still rubbish at this in my opinion, compared to say Tesco where the process is much more slick. And then a turkey collection at Waitrose, nowhere near as well organised and safe as it was last year. We got most of what we ordered and need though. I'm glad it's done, now we can relax until the big day.

As a footnote (!) we slept in a bit this morning and found two parcels of socks left outside the front door, so that's me sorted for presents. I love how Royal Mail don't ring the door bell when they see the curtains are still closed. They do seem to come quite early with parcels though, with a normal postal delivery mid to late morning.
