Curveball kennels
When I rang to confirm the drop off and pick up time for the dog, for our visit to Scotland to see Martin's parents, the owner denied any booking had been made. He asserted that there was no way he would have agreed to an early morning drop off, there was no record of payment and that they were fully booked.
I nearly had a heart attack! I'd certainly not anticipated that particular crisis since our flights and accommodation (and dog accommodation) had been booked since September... or so I thought...
How relieved I was when, with Martin looking anxiously over my shoulder, I eventually found the emails that proved that I had booked and paid, and that he had agreed to an early morning drop off.
I keep thinking about the horror if we'd turned up early at he kennels in order to catch a flight to Scotland & we'd found out then that we weren't expected.
Once he could see our correspondence the owner rang to apologise and has somehow created room for Jess where there wasn't any before.
