Christmas Cookery

Mr M and I have been busy in the kitchen today. We’ve made treacle tart, mince & apple pies, parsnip purée and bread sauce - all going in the freezer ready for the big day.

I had my booster vaccine this morning - a fourth jab for me as I count as immunosuppressed. I have a sore arm at the moment but no other side effects. I had to go to Margam Park for the vaccine, so I went on a run round the park straight after the jab - just completed week 7 of C25K. Getting there!

The best news of the day came this evening just as I was dishing up tea - Miss M got a negative result from her PCR, so now she is able to join the family. Hurrah!!
