Light in the Sky (widwed221221)

For a while this afternoon it did look as if some light in the sky might appear toward the end of the day, and it did, for around 3 minutes!

I drove up to my default tree, thinking the view across the fields toward a lightning blasted tree might be good for a blip.  Sadly the sky was, if anything, too bright.   A wander about has led me to this viewpoint onto my default tree, from the other side of the road.  Within ~30 seconds of photographing this, clouds had obscured the sun and the dull light we have had for about a week now returned.
