Tuesday: The Christmas Hummingbird

First day of my holidays today.  Hurrah!!

It’s been a lovely day of many parts.  We walked into the ‘hood this morning to take care of a few things, the main one being for me to take care of the car insurance for the office vehicle.  Forgot all the necessary paperwork so that’s going to have to wait for another day.

Lovey chat with my aunt in Newcastle.  The first of a few chats over the holidays.  Time differences can be difficult so it’s so much easier when I’m off.

And then tonight it was the Van Dusen Garden Christmas Lights - a lovely annual event which we always enjoy.  To warm up, a couple of pints at Darby’s and then a dim sum dinner at ‘Little Bird’ where we had a lovely chat with the server about books.
