Red and green

I’ve always liked the classic red and green of Christmas. I know some like pink poinsettias, or white lights, or even blue snowmen. But the little (artificial) green tree by our front door is decorated with only red lights. Then it dawned on me that Jesus was born to bring us eternal life (evergreen) by the shedding of His (red) blood.
