Repeat Performance

My little belted kingfisher has taken a liking to a particular branch on my favorite tree.  I blipped him there on December 14 and was delighted to see him again today.  I know he's watching for a fish but he's very particular and is willing to sit and wait for a long time until just the right fish comes along.  I got a bit tired waiting for him to do anything but I was perfectly happy with this shot of him waiting patiently.  Of course, when I checked again about five minutes later he was gone.  He's really fast so it's going to be a challenge catching him in flight.  I just love the little fellow, though, so he can do whatever he wants and I'll always be delighted to have him around.
