Yummmm
This was lunch today in the heart of Burgundy. A warm goat's cheese salad with roasted cherry tomatoes. The fact that we were in Puligny Montrachet, meant that we couldn't resist ordering a 50cl pichet of the eponymous wine. Absolutely delicious! We spent a lazy afternoon tasting various wines from the vineyards that simmered all around, and finished off the day with a stunning boeuf bourguignon - what else - washed down with a Santenay 1ere Cru. Well... it's not every day that you overnight in the best wine-producing region of the world.
