Positive???

After the news that boyfriend Archie’s flat mate tested positive yesterday, I further spoiled Chloe’s holiday by pointing out the two lines on the lateral flow test she took this morning. She’s had a severe headache for over a week, but all previous tests were negative, so we’d been treating it as a tension headache. But maybe it has been Covid after all? Anyway, we all trooped up to the testing station for PCRs. Being vaccinated, the rest of us don’t technically have to isolate, so Doug and I got in a food shop, and we phoned the family to cancel Christmas. Again.
Damn you, Covid.
